Nika’s “Travel Agency” at the Para/Site Artspace in Hong Kong focusses on the relationship between art and tourism. Images of all possible travel destinations dash across a monitor in the window; in the exhibition space, decorated by paintings, guests can experience a special kind of travel in a cabin with two chairs; on the wall in the back of the gallery a conversation between the artist and tourism Professor PhD Kam-hon Lee on the subject of contemporary art and tourism is projected. On the first floor 3 monitors show video-recordings of stories of 11 other travelers, that the artists has guided in the run-up to the exhibition.
