It’s dark. Suddenly a noise is heard from high above the ceiling. What is that? Cackling chickens? An unsteady shadow in dazzling light. And already it’s over. Have birds, pigeons, chickens been roused? And now the excitement has calmed down. Is there a pigeon’s nest or was it just an apparition?
