The multimedia artist Nika Spalinger lives in Zurich. She examines the societal role of art and the modes of artistic interactions between real and imaginary space. Since 1996 she teaches at the Lucerne University of Applied Scienes & Arts, Design& Art. Her field of research includes topics of art in public sphere in relation to tourism, religion, intercultural exchange and sustainability.
